Stop babysitting small data jobs.
We build, host, monitor, and maintain the recurring data tasks your team should not have to think about—downloads, API pulls, report assembly, file delivery, and more.
Simple jobs. Managed properly.
Small Data Pipes is for recurring data work that is too important to forget, but too small to justify a full-time data engineer.
You tell us the workflow
Show us what someone does today: where the data comes from, what needs to happen to it, and where it should go.
We build and operate it
We develop the pipeline, schedule it, host it, monitor it, retry failures, and handle minor maintenance.
You stop thinking about it
Your team gets the result. We keep watch in the background and give you operational visibility through our customer portal.
A low-friction first pipeline.
Start with one simple workflow. If it earns your trust, the economics get better when you add more.
- One simple managed pipeline
- Automated scheduling and retries
- Operational monitoring
- Minor configuration changes included
- 45-day retention within plan limits
- Business-hours remediation, Mon–Fri 5 AM–5 PM Pacific
The starter plan is meant to prove itself.
Once you see the first pipeline doing its job every day, the next question is usually: “What else are we doing manually?”
We do not pretend automation always “saves payroll.” The value is reliability, consistency, less manual babysitting, and fewer recurring tasks competing for attention.
“Download this ERCOT report and email it every day.”
This is exactly the kind of small, repetitive workflow the $79.99 service is designed for.
The manual version
An employee checks whether the report is posted, downloads it, and sends it to a distribution list. Most days it takes a minute. Occasionally the report is late, so someone has to remember to check again.
We recommend delivering to a customer-managed distribution group so staffing changes do not become a recurring maintenance task.
05:00 Check ERCOT ↓ Not posted yet? ↓ Keep checking automatically ↓ Retrieve expected file ↓ Validate ↓ Email distribution group ↓ Record success in portal
If it repeats, it may be a pipeline.
Recurring downloads
Market data, vendor feeds, pricing files, inventory reports, regulatory files, or daily exports.
API enrichment
Upload a CSV, call an external API for each item, then return a completed spreadsheet with the new data.
Scheduled reporting
Combine multiple sources into a weekly sales report, month-end package, or operational workbook.
Keep it simple.
What counts as a starter pipeline?
A simple, low-volume workflow with limited external calls, straightforward transformation or delivery logic, and low expected support burden. High-frequency, multi-source, compute-heavy, or operationally critical jobs are quoted separately.
What if the source is late?
That is one of the reasons the service exists. The pipeline can keep checking according to the agreed workflow instead of relying on a person to remember to come back and refresh.
Can you send the output somewhere other than email?
Yes. Delivery can be built around the customer’s needs—email, SFTP, database, API, file storage, or another destination. Development complexity may affect setup pricing.
Do you support sensitive or regulated data?
Not in the starter phase. The platform is being designed with stronger security and compliance needs in mind, but the initial service is for non-sensitive business and operational data.
What are you still downloading by hand?
Tell us about one recurring data task. If it fits the starter model, we’ll tell you quickly—and if it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too.
